Married sex is the best sex ... I myself am currently having sex with a married lady and we both simply adore it.

Only if you're the one she's cheating on her husband with. I'm not going to pretend I don't get it and offer an "Oh" on the end as if it took me a moment.

Actually willful celibacy is a great trip. Here's some benefits:

People will want to have sex with you.
You will save literally months of your life by not struggling to get women.
You will appear cooler and more mysterious.
You'll save tons of money on: condoms, buying dinner, going to clubs, renting chick movies (or guy movies)
You'll be able to do anything you want without worrying about your significant other's reaction.
You'll be making a sound moral and environmental decision by not reproducing.

How is it a benefit of celibacy that people will want to have sex with you? I understand what you're saying, and believe that could really happen, but how is it a benefit? Isn't that like taking a hunger vow and enjoying the benefit of people offering you food? So what?

Now if you are pretending that you've takena vow of celibacy, and you really haven't, so you have sex with all the people who are looking to corrupt you, then I see it as a benefit. After all, when they realize they've been had, you still hold the moral high ground.

Grain of salt time: Are women really jumping all over priests? Is this celibacy thing actually attractive to anyone? Because as for me, some gal tells me she's saving herself for marriage, or for God, I don't care what she looks like. I am not interested.

The obvious benefit is the feeling of superiority and aloofnes, I suppose. Isn't it oddly gratyfying to have all these girls crawl all over you in vain? biggrin.gif

Maybe for them, it just pisses off us woman repellant people. All of the aloof and mysteriousness myths are just that. I've been aloof all if my life, and I don't even get second looks from women. Hell, most of the time I consider myself lucky to get a first look. So your theory is bunk I say!

Oh for God's sake, spare me the pity parade, the fishing for compliments day trip.
Sex is simpler than crossing the road, and less dangerous.
People want to have sex, you are people, therefore sex is a definite possibility.

Any, 'God, noone wants to have sex with me' is little more than bad vibes put out that inevitably come back, noone wants to have sex with someone unnatractive, and if you who know yourself better than anyone think you're a piece of shit then who are they to disagree.

As for celibacy, what the hell is the fuss about!!! It's not oxygen you're going without, no sex ... whoop de fucken doo. Celibacy does little more for the soul than vegetarianism, or denying oneself the colour yellow.
Sex is not spiritual, therefore how cany denial of it have effect on the soul????

Point 1: I'm not fishing for compliments or pity, just pointing out that the theory fails.

Point 2: You're getting obnoxious.

Pont 3: If you're the Green Lantern, you must avoid the color yellow.

Sorry if I came across as obnoxious but I in all honesty don't understand the theory.

I will resist and therefore they will be tempted.
Build yourself and they will come ... once in a while perhaps

Good point, my point about the colour yellow was bullshit, Green Lantern kicks ass

Not sure how this works JM, but i'm all ears.

QUOTE

Does anyone really set aside time in their schedule sorely for the purpose of finding women? It either happens by accident, or if you're actually actively looking, that means your probably in a club or a bar and some other nice place to be. I do object a bit to the word "struggle". If it looks that obvious, you'll never get anywhere (OK, i've wandered off the point a bit now)

QUOTE

Yes, perhaps. Although this would entail other people knowing that you're "willfully celibate". Could you imagine telling someone this? Doesnt it just sound like an excuse?

QUOTE

Yes but, i'd do those things anyway (not the condoms though obviously).

QUOTE

Yes, but are we talking about laying off just the sex or relationships altogether here?

QUOTE

I dunno, but it's entertaining at times, irritating at others. Let's get back to why on earth you'd want to hold off until marriage to fuck for the first time.

From my experience Australian girls are fiery little fiends ... something to do with the hot weather and readily availiable Fosters ...
