Did anyone spot Baron Papanoida in ROTS? I was looking for him (particularly in that opera house sequence) but I didn't see him.

For those of you that don't know, this is the character played by George Lucas himself. smile.gif

I heard about this, and saw George Lucas dressed in some sort of strange clothes, and his skin was either purple or blue... not sure, as I cannot fully remember. Didn't he also have a weird hairstyle or something? *shrugs* Haven't watched the movie yet, so nope, haven't spotted him. I'll look, though.

As he didn't further embarass himself like Sydney Pollack does in all of his films when trying to act, he went unnoticed!

I'm sure we will find out how much he hated it, when 'Reasons to Hate Rots' comes.

But isn`t a concept of hating movies a bit stupid?!

Maybe because I never was a worshipper of OT, i can`t understand it!

Even though the early reports said GL could be seen during the opera sequence, he was actually outside before it started next to his daughters.

Teeing off against bad movies is one of the rare pleasures of life. See, for example, Roger Ebert's compilation of reviews, I Hated, Hated, Hated This Movie.

Ebert either loves a movie, or hates it. There is never an in between with him. Ever notice that?

Thus the flaws of a thumbs up or down system.

Find the image of him on the web in costume...like I did here

http://baronployer.b...er_archive.html

The distinguishing feature is the hat and hanging threads on the shoulder.

Anyway, now I'll tell you:

When Anakin is running to the opera, right before he gets to the balcony he slows to a walk. In the LOWER left the character can first be seen, then he turns to talk to a blue skinned person in a robe. They chuckle just as Anakin walks in.

At least he didn't mug for the camera.

Um, look at Roger Ebert's Chicago Sun-Times columns. I don't watch his TV show. If you think he's all about thumbs up and down then you need to do your f**king homework.
