Don't tell me they claim Palpatine is Annie's father... Oh no...

I probably won't be seeing this movie until next week sometime. Looking forward to it, sort of.

It's worse . . . Annie's dad is a concoction of Chewbacca and Qui Gon's midiclorians, with a dash of Jango Fett.

Well, I'll be watching it on Friday, hopefully. Have to book the tickets tomorrow morning. I'll be taking a pen and a notepad to note down all the crappy bits, I shall, of course be posting my opinions by the weekend.

I'm so looking forward to trashing this movie. I've been thoroughly spoiled and I am almost certain that Baron Crapanioida is not going to dissappoint me. tongue.gif ROTS is going to suck, big time! devil.gif

Congradulations on discovering the full crappiness of ROTS. It's 'now showing' on the movies near my house, but I won't be watching it there... I'm gonna wait until it comes out on video before buying it and watching it alone, then with my long awaited and frequently claimed movie marathon.

I won't mind the details being spoiled for me... they already are, anyway, and I'd just really like to know what crap is waiting for me so I'm not caught y surprise and choke/spit whatever snack I happen to eating at that time.

They make a little sense. I myself don't understand half of what he was saying, but the other half, I understand pretty well. smile.gif

What's not to understand? It's a "NEw and Improved" brand of crap over the first two installments.

Period.

I can only imagine how bad those "little art films" George Lucas is always saying he'll do will turn out - assuming he actually has the guts to leave his empire, which I seriously doubt - seeing as how the man can no longer direct his way out of a paper bag.

I'd like a qui-gon jinn please with an obi-wan to go.

Lucas said that he will make the storylines for the cartoons, and then 'step back'

Saw the midnight showing....

My God, what a travesty.

The droid banter at the beginning is horrific.

The wookie scenes are ridiculous and useless. (Yoda and Chewy are buddies?? WTF??)

General Grevious is also ridiculous, he can walk like a spider and coughs for some stupid reason.

The first Palpatine saber duels are insanely stupid. He just looks silly. He looks like a 80 year old redneck weilding a yardstick. Intimidating he is not.

The Vader scene is one of the worst scenes in the PT. It is extremely painfull to watch. He's not Frankenstein.

And of course, the dialogue is laughable.

I actually laughed out loud a couple of times at what were supposed to be very serious moments.

If you need me, I'm the guy with his head in the toilet puking his brains out.

I have just seen it!

And I must say one thing: this movie is greatest enjoyment i had for a long time in cinema!

Hayden was actually charismatic as Anakin, arrogant in a much more mature and cool way than in AOTC! My girlfriend said many young women would fall for him!

His scenes with Padme were a bit cheesy, but weren`t bad in the context of the movie! Their silent scene before the turn was very good, by the way!

Obi-wan felt like an epithome of the Jedi Knight, I liked his jokes and felt sorry for him at the end!

Palpatine: very good overall, though i found him a bit silly during Mace duel!

Grevious: Hey, he was cool, like all those two-dimensional villains from the films I watched as a child!

And I almost felt like I was a child again during some scenes!

My girlfiend wanted more Jar-Jar by the way!
