Man Says He Kept Mom In Freezer To Collect Her Checks
He Was Afraid People Would Think He Killed Her

LA CROSSE, Wis. --  Wisconsin authorities said a man told them he kept his mother's body in a freezer for more than four years to collect her Social Security checks.

A woman's body was found encased in ice, in a sitting position.

Police said Philip Schuth told them his mother died of natural causes in 2000, but that he was afraid to notify police because he thought they wouldn't believe him.

Investigators found the freezer at the end of an all-night standoff at Schuth's home in the town of Campbell. A neighbor was shot during a dispute and SWAT teams responded.

Schuth surrendered without incident. Investigators found 15 to 20 homemade explosive devices and more than a dozen firearms.

Man would he ever have been fucked if the power went out. I can imagine him running around in the dark with a half frozen corpse. Actually, that sounds like a pretty funny story.

I read this article and its predecessor a while ago, I hope this guy gets whats coming to him.

For one thing it sounds as though he was an utter asshole his whole life and they've only now found enough proof of it to lock him up. Also, reading the article I found some suggestion that he might have killed his mother.

"I didn't want to tell anyone she was dead because she had a fight with the cat and her blood was on the walls so it might have looked like I did it"

The shooting people and attacking children are obvious character flaws, but considering he may have successfully murdered his own mother and froze her body, that puts him into a whole new plane of evil.

Wow, dude. Most societies need to set up some sort of justice system to try to determine whether a guy committed murder or not, but you can tell just from a few scant scraps of media information! Why have you not offered to utlize this amazing ability more often?

Ok, guy attacks kid, tries to kill kids parent when yelled at, keeps mother in freezer in basement, has mother's blood on walls.

Based on the evidence I have I'm going to say that there is a good chance that he killed his mother. I'm also going to say that even if he didn't he still needs locking up.

Ah, now I see the problem. This article dosn't contain the additional bit of evidence that I was basing much of my case off of.

Here's what I speak of, from another news source:

"He said his mother was attacked by a cat years ago and and her blood was on the walls in the house they shared, and he feared police would think he killed her, according to the documents."

So then, rather like O. J Simpson's defence, only Mark Furman is replaced by a cat.
