It's some measure of how thoroughly Lucas has squandered his goodwill with the fans that, while in an earlier time I would have been shocked that Yoda got taken down (presumably by Palpatine), now I'm thinking, "Eh, you deserved it."

The photo of Anakin could just be a publicity still. "Here, Hayden, sit on any old thing, look pensive, and hold it right there." -click click click- Still, I wouldn't put it past Lucas to create not one single bit of real set design, even if it's just a rock for Anakin to sit on.
I do admit that Christensen looks better and more credibly brooding in this shot than he did in any of Episode II. Maybe it's just because he's older now. And it is just a photo.
