The problem is that the animation is too slow and freezes up, and the sound stutters horribly.  I'm guessing it must just be card troubles or something...I don't know how those things work.

there's a patch you need to download.

(+vampire, like KOTOR is a game that requires a computer of such high specifications i don't think they've yet to be made.)

I already tried the patch and turning down the settings, but it's only helped the tiniest of tiny bits (it's stopped slowing down when I'm talking to someone directly). The worst of it is, it takes no less than ten minutes to make the transition from one area to another or go in and out of buildings.

Also, I'm still pretty early in the game, but ignoring the problems, it's rocking my world. I was just attacked with a severed human arm. A SEVERED ARM. Now that is cool.

What's even better is that after you kill him, you can pick it up and use it yourself biggrin.gif Sure, it's not as good as the knife, but that didn't stop me using it right up untill I got the fire axe. May I also suggest trying to update you'r drivers for video/sound cards? That may help. Sadly, the load times are horrendous(but not 10mins, surely? I keep a pack of cards at my desk, and shuffle them or whatever whilst waiting.

Random thing to ask, since I'm playing aegis for lack of a better browser wargame right now. I another player asks you to join his kingdom, should you;

A. Agree, because there's safety in numbers.
B. Decline and risk an attack.
or C. Take it as a sign of weakness on his part and launch an invasion against the bastard.

Perfect timing Laughlyn, I needed another browser game to keep me buisy for the summer. Cheers.

C. For every wargame it's always C

Edit: Taking a look throught the rules right now. It looks like standard fair but it does have flavor art in the rule book, which I dig. Bet now on how long I'll actually stick to this game.

ADDITIONAL: Holy shit, I'm only a short way into the haunted beach house, and I'm freaking scared to go any further! I have a weakness for spooky-bastards-jumping-at-you-and-startling-you stuff, so...

AWESOME!

It has been so long...

EDIT: DAMMIT! I spent my 2666th post here by mistake!

Kirby: Too late, he attacked me first, it was a draw despite what the game says. He lost more men, more valuable troops, and didn't get past the city walls. Counter attack cometh.

FD:Evidently not.
