ignoring ep1....
well, 11.5 hours is how long it took to tell the LOTRs 14 month tale... (and alot of that 14 months we don't even see)
the SW:PT is 6 hours telling us about 15+ years...
i've forgotten my point...
fuck it... i'm off to get a massage!
Ignoring ep 1? Are any of them necessary?

And Binary - if Episode I died when you saw Ep II, is there a chance that Ep II will die when you see Sith?
Well, Mnesymone, I'm really hedging my bets that Sith is the film that I (and all of us) have been waiting for, so... I am open to AOTC "dying" when I emerge from the cinema in Late May. [one can hope ].
As for your "re-casting" of AOTC to make it better "for guys at least", well... I guess I really can't touch that. While I have nothing against Hayden as an actor, I really don't understand the thought process behind casting him as Anakin/"young" Vader. Unfortunately, I can't think of who I'd want in the part to make it better for me, a 30-something woman...(sigh)
