if i wrap my self around a tree maybe i can save somebody's life.

yeah, doesn't everything come down to money though?

The problem with donating your organs is a deeply troubling one. What if the life you saved was some wanker who you wouldn´t have liked had you met the bastard before you died?

Solution to problem - The donee (or whatever the the person at the other end is supposed to be called) will have to answer a list of questions that the donor writes out on various topics. Any wrong answers: no body parts. Or if that is too harsh for you, it can be a sliding scale of diverging answers, depending on the value of the parts involved and the inccorectness of the questions. Something along the lines of ïf you get my eyeballs, will you be visiting the Louvre any time soon, or will you merely be watching low budget pornography most of the time?

To donate you organs to a random person, you would have to really like people in general. RICH people no less, because nobody from a poor part of the world would ever get hold of either the parts or the doctor to stick them in. Plus the doctor won´t be cheap, so you will be making some rich doctor even richer.

Some posts don´t ever get to the point, but this one will - there are too many people around, and most of them irritate me, so che se ne frega on donating body parts.

So, technically you're not giving away "free" organs to "help" somebody. You are dead, your permission has been given to jack your parts, then whatever hospital, doctor, corporate entity which gets your organs, gets to charge for services, and the surgeon gets to cash in as well. None of it is free. None of it is free christian humanitarian holy humanist giving. If you believe in any of that you are a fool. Do the research. I am not going to donate my parts, nor blood, because I'm not going to participate in the spare parts business. People die. Its a fact of life, and people need to face that fact. I almost died once, and no spare parts, blood or organs would have saved me. I was lucky, so I live on now, the spare parts concept is a business, it isn't "healing."

Ya know, I leave the Starwars forum for a few weeks cuz it got stale and its really great to come back to new and hillarious rants. I didnt read all of Hannibal's posts but as scary as it is I actually agree with some of what he said. Not the rant by a monk from some religion that he himself has slandered as fascist. Not whatever the hell he said to Barend that seemed to take up twenty pages.

What I agree with is that this clone technology will be used for the benefit of the rich. However, I also agree with THE REST OF THE FUCKING WORLD when I say that clone technology is still peachy keen. Hannibal, you're spouting border-line communist ideology here, so you really need to chill out before you start having to actually pick a political party and stop just randomly insulting every cause imaginable.
