Being sick sucks. Currently I'm at home with a sore throat, slight headache, and runny nose. It was all worse yesterday. The thing that sucks so much is that even though you get to stay home and do cool stuff, you can't really enjoy it because of your headache, et cetra. Blargh... My throat hurts...

On a positive note, you can take a lot of drugs for legitimate reasons now. You should take shots of Nyquil and chase it with Robitussin. Then proceed to Sudafed and Tylenol Cold. Easy video games will be challenging once again.

Heh, I've seen people get pretty fucked up on generic cough syrup do to the chemical in it that starts with 't' and has sixty or so letters in it.

Brandy clears out lung congestion.

To Barend: laugh.gif

To Floppydisk: Tell me about it, I've been feeling like crap on and off for weeks. It goes from constant runny sinuses, to sore throat, to coughing up crap, to being sick because of a sensitive gag reflex, to general aches and feelings of badness. It doesn't help that apparently something I'm allergic to is blowing around in the wind, and I have no clue what it is specifically because I have god-knows-how-many allergies.

Malnutrition may or may not enter into it.

Still, at least you're not feverish or puking your guts out! thumbsup.gif

Actually, the intoxicating agent in cough syrup is codeine, I believe.

Uggg... I wish this fever or virus or whatever it is would go away. I woke up at 3:30 last night and couldn't get to sleep until 5. I listened to music. I got 8 hours of sleep last night. I've basically become a snot factory. 2 1/2 tissue boxes are used up, and I can't play any computer games because my CD-rom drive is broken.

No, the one I was talking about was an absurdly long name that started with T.

Good god, man, no CD-Rom drive? How are you still alive at all?!
