here's a thread where we pool all our bright ideas...
($1.34 says it dies after 3 posts.... but anyway)

like some department stores that have a little toy pen/room for kids to sit and mingle in... i was thinking, today after walking around in a handbag shop with a female friend (which made me think of all the times other female friends have dragged me around bra shopping)... that some sort of man pen in the corner with an X-Box and big screen or something... or just a pile of FHM and MAxim magazines, would be usefull... so that we don't get in the way while the girls are examening every last item in the shop with their dirty little hands...

afterthought:
[the bra shop could also have a survielance camera feed attatched to the screen that would obviously have to be facing the corner]

anyone else got anything....?

no...?

When you post a letter, write your address on the front, and put the sendee's address in the senders spot. Then post it without a stamp. The postal service will see it didn't have a stamp, and return it to the senders address, which is where you want it to go. Congratulations, you just saved 50 cents.

That postage stamp trick is from Steal This Book, a most useful book you can all go read for free online. It's linked in the book forum.

I think record stores should allow you to burn cds at the store with whatever music you want on them.

I got it from a satirical lifestyle show they had on SBS last year. I can't remember what it's called at the moment. It was full of good ideas. For example, when painting your house, instead of hiring expensive painters, get a bunch of stoners and give them spray paint. Results can vary.

LIFE SUPPORT.

their best one was about weather or not to pay for girls meal at a resteraunt. (if she eats a heavy meal she's probably in not going to have sex with you so you should let her pay, if she eats lightly she wants to look her best naked, and you should pay).

another great one was about convincing the kids that santa got killed crashing into your chimny... in order to save money around xmas.

Thats the one. I liked the one where they showed you how to find out if you're son is gay. Hire an attractive young actor(as actors are all gay)to crack onto him, and if your son turns out to be gay, at least you know who his first boyfriend will be.

Also, when breaking up, wait a few weeks. Use this time to smuggle all of your stuff(and some of her stuff, if you can)out of her place. Then when you break up with her, do it at her house to insure that anything she breaks at the time is hers.

another idea...

more of a law...

if someone is too fat to be attractive to the opposite sex, they shouldn't have to share a seat on a train or bus.

alo...

single people who go to the movies alone should get the tickets at student price.

Hear hear. But then everyone single could get into the movies at students' prices, unless you had to show a card or something that said "I am certifiably single." which would depress me.

In regards to the fat people thing, they should not be allowed to wear tight fitting or revealing clothing either. And ugly fat people (there are heavy-set people who manage to still look attractive) should not be allowed to wear clothing saying 'hottie' on them.

those bastards....

as for the movies...

you don't really need a card. if you're ugly, fat and alone - you get $4.00 off. simple as that. i think that's only fair. good looking people get too many benifits. look at charlize theron. she even gets roles intended for ugly people. so to make up for this.... ugly people should get discounts.
