Yeah I get that too, It's part of the whole 'improvement' thing they have going.

Y'see it all starts innocently at the beginning of the relationship; they buy you clothes, change your style, rearrange your DVD collection so all the Discs are in the right boxes, etc.

Then it moves up to high gear and they start rearranging your furniture, providing drinks coasters, and making you throw out your stash of porn.

After that they start replacing your friends with more socially acceptable individuals, move in, and host dinner parties.

Beforeyou know it everything that made you you, is gone.

I can't help but notice that the discussion of who would win in a fist-fight between a man and a woman has come up again and you good gents have forgotten a valid point I made a while back. (Given that the thread has become incredibly long by now, I'll forgive you all.) So I ask you to please briefly jump back to page 13.(In order to get that number I had to spend 10 minutes trying to convince my stupid slow bastard of a computer to open two browser windows at the same time, a feat it normally finds impossible. Thats how much I love you all.) When you see what I have posted here, you will come to the rather sad conclusion that any chick here could easily beat the tar outta us poor lickle chappies. In fact I would go as far as to say that if you randomly selected one girl from the worlds population followed by ten million men and told the chick to utterly DESTROY said blokes, the lassie would STILL be able to do it without breaking a sweat. I know theres bastards in this world who WOULD beat the shit out of a woman and rape her, but I'm sure that they don't represent the average human male. God I'm glad Rhubard got to your post first. Either way your arguement is still flawed. Look a the violent abuse statistics, you don't see too many guys on the recieving end (athough it does still happen.) Generally guys DO have superior weight and build, which is why we shouldn't be reducing our arguments to contests of physical strength that we know we can win.

Yeah, I thought about that Kdogg, you can just look at that story about a guy who had his balls ripped off by his ex for some evidence (she even tried to swallow one of them) ,but look at violent crime in general, It's perpertrated mainly by men. I think we can say pretty safely that men commit more domestic violence than women.

On the topic of general crime, I remember seeing a documentary that was attempting to show the hideously dangerous career of the common police woman. The reporter found, to her surprise, that PW were hardly ever even TOUCHED by criminals. If criminals were faced with a police woman, they usually just turned and ran the other way. If they WERE assaulted, it was usually just the thug pushing them out of the way. And before you ask, there WERE cases of police women being badly beaten up and even being raped by law-breaking bastards. They were however, pretty damn rare. Look, I'm not trying to say I think that battering women is kosher. It AINT. Its not just wrong its completely fucking EVIL. I'm just saying that if you took an average chick and an average dude and set them on each other, I really do think that because of social conventions that the odds are about a billion to one in favour of the chick. Thats all I'm saying.

I'd hardly call any of the women I know 'divine goddesses'. And Voodoo, pretty much every word you post on this subject is a kick in the teeth to abused women everywhere. You can talk all you like about how you don't like hitting women, but in the meantime I'm afraid to go out alone after dark, and to someone who likes to generally feel independant, that's fucking crushing. Perhaps you'd like to let all the misogynists in this area know that they should be afraid of hitting women. And go ahead and quote all your documented instances when guys didn't want to hit policewomen, and your Q-E-fucking-Ds, but what I know as fact is that at least half my mates and several relatives have been badly sexually assulted at some point. It's nice to know that the people I associate on this forum probably wouldn't attempt to brutalise my person if they met me, but I put it to you that you are talking out of your arse. It's people like you who spread the problem by misguidedly putting about the idea that the balance of power between the sexes has shifted.
