There are very few people I have warm fuzzy feelings about, and most of them don't technically exist.

And there is nothing wrong with that.

Yes it costs, but you get involved in the Writer's Workshop with essays written by the Chuckster, which makes it worth I guess. I still didn't subsribe though.

On a side note, Chuck's new short stories book, Haunted, will hit the shelves May the 3rd. It includes the great story 'Guts', which you probably know already.

Slowly but steady, I turn this Fight CLub thread into a unofficail Chuck thread, but who cares?

Here is the site of the new book, Haunted. And I can't wait to get it! Haunted

I just read Fight Club (have seen the movie numerous times). I really liked it, and mainly was just amazed how closely the movie stuck to the book, other than the very, very end and the part about Marla's mother. It was an almost literal adaptation of it. Floppy, just curious what you didn't like about the movie, since i thought they were almost exactly alike and if you like one, you'll like the other.

Well, I didn't like it at first, because the book gave me a different total impression than the movie, but I've since warmed up to it and like it a lot. I also think the ending of the book is a million jillion times better than the movie. Did anyone else get the ending?

No, man. You were the only one who 'got' it, because you are so hip.

You're right about the impressions though. The whole conveyance, or whatever, of the book and stuff was totally different. The movie was awesome though, considering how it could easily have been total trash. And it had a lot of its own quirks too and was awesome in its own right, as opposed to just following the book's layout.

My favourite random movie part - right near the start (before Tyler's appearance) where Edward Norton comes out of the cinema after having seen Seven Years In Tibet... starring Brad Pitt. Tyler was meant to be that the Norton character's ideal of the guy he wanted to be, right? :D

The funniest part of the movie, is where Norton is in a hotel watching the welcome message of the hotel on video. The hotel personnel that says, welcome, look at the guy in the right corner.

That is Pitt, and it's hilarious when you see it and no one else does.

Edit: Floppy, I didn't read your yellow font...
