Im a big wresting fan and one of my favorite websites is www.wrestlecrap.com where they make fun of the most idiotics wrestle characters ever invented. Its a pretty fun site if you know wrestling a little bit. But this time they use all their creativity to bash at the Star Wars Holiday Special, i was literally laughing my ass off of this one.

Enjoy your Hanukkah present; there has being no better one for me (except remebering how the Redsox came back from a 0-3 deficit to humilliate the Yankees) Here is the link: http://www.wrestlecr...dayspecial.html and have fun

Pretty on the money. I'm glad they made a nod to the Reggie Bar commercial. The commercials were actually the most entertaining part for me. The best one was ( I think) for some sort of labor union, or made in america or something. It felt like it was about six minutes long and featured this woman singing a very eerie song.

The Boba Fett cartoon was pretty neat. The animation was pretty bad but in a really cool way. It was highly stylized and quite unique. That and the Bea Arthur song were the two shining moments for me. Unfortunately the "funny" skit before Bea Arthur's song is, by my calculation, about 65 minutes long. It makes Saturday Night Live look like geniuses about when to tastefully end a bit.

I give Bea Arthur a LOT of credit. She gave 110% in this role. She never gave any indication that she was disgusted with what she had to consider the lowest point in her career and possibly her entire life. Luckily for her she went on to achieve bigger and better things after this.

Inspired by that review and many others, I finally managed to track down a copy. And it's truly as bad as everyone says it is. The Wookies make watching the Gungans and Neimoidians a pleasure. I cant believe there's a character more annoying than Anakin and Jar Jar, but Lumpy takes the cake. By far. He doesn't even sound like he's speaking Wookie, he sounds like a deranged tauntaun. Every second the Wookies were on the screen the minutes just dragged on. And that scene with Diahann Carroll is just biazzre, considering this was made for kids.

Harrison Ford (though looking bored out of his tree) and Mark Hamill made for the only worthwhile scenes in that whole mess. The cartoon was pretty decent, though Luke trusting Boba Fett because he called him friend was just plain stupid of him. It's something the PT Jedi's would fall for.("Friend he has called me Master Windhu, so true this must be") Oh and Carrie Fischer was stoned out of her mind. Wonder if any kids watching ever noticed

my copy is pretty shit...

it's rather small and sound is very compressed... but you can make it out... but it makes it just that little more depressing...

on another note...

i think this should be the imdb.com image for harrison ford...

That's a great link, Who Cares, for I'm a big fan of the SWHS. Of course it was Meco who did the disco hit, but that's nitpicking. Most of the low-lights have been commented on before, but I forgot about that old Hungry Jack Jingle. smile.gif

I heard some guys on a radio talk show, sports related, chatting about this. Nice that we were on the cutting edge thirteen months ago. Ahh, share the love. Chewbacca, I'm so glad you made it! this is is the day we (giggle) celebrate the tree of life.
