I did see that if you get the SW credit card, you get a Jango F. Sculpture? Made messa wonder, Now Why would anyone intentionally do something for a Jango F'in anything? He has got to be my least favorite character from the chAOTiC cosmos. (ep 2)

not a nice guy, but not a villian I'd love to hate. I just plain dislike him. Can't stand his name, either. Of course I'm sure it was Master Lucas' plan that all the bad guys (stormtroopers) be unlikable, therefore them being based on JANGO is a good thing.

(shudder.) and his creepy kid, grinning and chuckling- this is the basis for the "coolest character" of the SW universe?

Of course we all hate jar-jar, but Jango just creeps me out. And yes, as much as GL.

Wow... how can you pick just one? rolleyes.gif

Jango is lame and he STILL makes me thinkg of Django Reinhardt every time I hear his stupid name.

My least favorite character may be Darth Maul. I don't wish to take anything away from Ray Park who, as far as I can tell, is a badass. I just think no amount of acrobatics can make up for the lack of personality and dialogue. Also the KISS makeup was inexcusable.

Dishonorable mention: Mace Windu. Too much time spent trying to be "cool".

That is a tough one. Everyone except Obi Wan irritates the hell of me and even Obi Wan gets on my nerves a bit as well, as for some reason he is an uptight stiff in these films (although that's better than a hybrid Kermit/Gonzo/Sonic/bouncing ball).

Is d) All of the above a possible answer?

I do. The prick charges money for his autograph. I mean, who the hell does he think he is? And also take into account, who would be paying money for his autograph and how old are they?

It's called exploitation. Ray Park is a wanker and if I never saw him in another movie again, I'd be quite happy.

I harbor strong disdain for Jar Jar Binks.

Obi-Wan is preferable over Anakin simply because Obi-Wan, though stiff, isn't as whiny.

Padme annoyed the hell out of me with her delivery of lines like "Must have been difficult having dedicated your life to the Jedi, not being able to go/do what you like." God I hate that line, I think I hate it even more than the sand line.
I am the Fisher King.

I'd like a qui-gon jinn please with an obi-wan to go.

That's hardly unique is it? I thought all b-class celebrities going to conventions charge about $20 for an autograph... Jeremy Bulloch has been at it for years. I'm not saying it's a good thing, but everyone did it before Park came along.

Anyway, the list:

1. Jar-Jar. Still hate him. Intensely.
2. That would be Jar-Jar again...
3. etc

Can you consider Anakin a new character? Even if you don't, I do! He is by far the most annoying character in the star wars universe. If the prequels are supposed to be about how Anakin became Darth Vader, why couldn't they make Anakin a character I gave a damn about? The prequels have made one of the better villains in cinema a joke! Only a true piece of crap can destroy the legacy of it's predecessor.

Yeah, he can be considered new, because he sure isn't the "good friend", "good man", and "cunning warrior" we were told he was. angry.gif

I agree with Mad Rabbit. When I watched the ESB recently and saw the scenes with Darth Vader in them I grimaced... so this is what has become of Anakin Skywalker? In all honesty, I liked Darth Vader, but after seeing Anakin in AOTC, I just can't bear to see him again on the screen.

As for who's my least favorite... well, that would be a tough choice for me. One part of me wants Jar Jar Binks, another part of me wants Anakin, and yet a third part wants the young Boba Fett (the little shit!). I just don't know which to choose.

For me it's a toss-up between Jar Jar and Anakin in AotC (if you can call him a 'new' character). Like Sagacity said, where the hell is the 'good man' Obi-Wan talks about in the OT? If Lucas had bothered to portray Anakin as Obi-Wan described him then we might actually care when he falls to the Dark Side, rather than just wondering why the hell it took so long.

The sandpeople had women and children. We know this because Anakin killed them how could he tell? The children might be smaller but I never saw a sandperson with breasts. Did they hike their skirts and show him some leg or something?

Also, I can see the point of wanting to kidnap a human and use her as a slave, but they didn't. They tied her to a flimsy easel for a month. It's assumed they had to feed and give her water. What for? Was she purely ornamental? I can understand them wanting the droids, you can sell those for a lot of money, but a chick who's only skills are finding non-existand mushrooms and getting randomly pregnant, you're not going to get much.

One of the problems of the prequels is that everyone and everything is so annoying that personally, I want the Republic to fall, I want Anakin to become Vader, I want the Jedi to be exterminated ... so we can get to the good movies.

After watching the prequels at the cinema, I went home and watched one of the originals afterwards. It's a lot like having a shower after getting really dirty. You want to wash all that mud off yourself... or in the case of the prequels, out of your memory.

I've mentioned this before, but in the AFI top 50 villians, top 50 heroes of ALL TIME program/celebration, Vader was one of the top villians. To support this claim, they used the Padme/Anikan Fireplace scene. There was snippet of a Lucas interview, in trade I presume.

I think I'll go with Boba Fett just for his general wrongness and creepyness. I mean he didn't even act too bothered holding his dad's head, and why didn't the Jedi do anything to like help him or something. Honorable mentions are AOTC Anakin and Darth Maul.

As annoying as Binks and "grown up" Annie are, nothing beats the crappiness of having kids as heros and villians. So Anakin in Episode One and Boba Fett in Episode Two. Never once do you believe these kids can be part of the battles, much less have them do something significant which effects the outcome. I still have a hard time watching Anakin "accidently" pilot a starcraft and "accidently" blow up the Trade Federation ship. Of course Lucas doesnt care as long as it means more kids come and watch these movies so the merchandising wheels start in motion.

gee, dude...

there's alot of crap in those films, but if anything...
a two-bladed lightsabre wielding, horn toting, blackrobed kung-fu doing, sith dude who looks like that is a welcomed character in my book...

facial tats = cool
facial tats that make you look like you were in a norweigan black metal band that went dico/techno = is even cooler

and he was able to kill a good guy too...

i hate Annie as much as anyone...

but my least favorite / most hate character of the PT is... *drumroll*
