hannibal...

i recently entered an interesting topic with someone the other day about facism in religeon and how budhism was like the only one that seemsed to steer completly clear from persecution and oppresion, but i was shown otherwise....

i didn't read the 4 miles of the printed word you supplied as i am, like most here, posting from work... and it is too busy to read all these essays that you supply... which i'll be the first to admit is a shame because i do think you have a taste for rather interseting topics.

but i cannot honestly devote adequate time to such a copiously large blocks of information... i am far too frequently interupted for it..

these are message boards, and one really needs to paraphrase a little...
read an article, give your consise opinion of it, link to sorce material, if it's really that important... but don't dump 12 folders of information on my lap and say 'there you go'

it's just not cricket...

Slade-

When he first started to inundate the SW forum with these enormous cut and paste jobs of other peoples work, he would also spam the forum with random pictures of nonsense. Nowadays, hes more likely just to make me laugh as I scroll down his 11 page post without reading a word.

its a shame he doesnt drop these bludgening/patronising tactics though, because it would actually provide a bit of a basis of discussion if he was more concise. As it is, he tries to overpower us and try to win an argument with the sheer volume of words in his posts. This is nonsense of course. Unfortunatly its clear that he has no interest in discussion past "i'm right, you're wrong".

Ok. The topic now has a random image. That's more like it.

Long rants are the things of the articles of old, of blog updates and degree-level thesises. These are the things I pepper with mile-long wodges of text, rather than forums. Of course there are exceptions, but exceptions usually prove the rule, rather than become as such.
