covers himself with dirt / mud material and acts "dumb" this to elude imperial forces looking for jedi councle members attempting to flee the civilized systems...yoda somehow links up with chewie and in passing a check point passes as a "dumb" pet...farting constantly during the check point encounter...and permitted to leave !...is this true and if so how messed up...in ep 4 obi-wan eludes the stormtroopers by the force...if yoda is such a grandmaster why cant he do it too...if this is the case ( lucas like poodoo and rectum gas so much ) then i hope this is the end of star wars....

I'm really not sure. I heard this was filmed as joke, that it was filmed and was going in the movie, and that it's just a rumor. *shrugs*

It's been confirmed that it's been filmed. It has not been confirmed whether it'll make it into the final cut. However, considering Georges penchant for fart-jokes my moneys on PFFRRBLBRAP! biggrin.gif

Why the shock and suprise? George Lucas loves farts, what can he say? You knew this kind of thing was going to happen. It probably isn't the last thing either...

may the farts be with you...

May The Farts Be With You!
Little green alien Yoda has a shock in store for Star Wars fans when the sixth and final film in the space saga is released next May. The pintsized Jedi master, famous for his topsy-turvy words of wisdom, will show that even in space wind can be a problem. Our spy was one of a select few to be shown a rough cut of George Lucas' final Star Wars, Revenge of the Sith, and the possibly the most shocking bout of flatulence in movie history. "It's true, Yoda really does fart," he reports. "It's a funny scene in an otherwise very dark and moody film. It was the rough cut so it remains to be seen if Lucas keeps it in but I'm sure it will at least make an amusing extra on the DVD." The computer generated Yoda also turns nasty by decapitating a baddie during a lightsaber duel. The film shows hero Anakin Skywalker's transformation into the evil Darth Vader - the villain of the original Star Wars trilogy. "I was blown away when I saw it," adds our insider. "It's much better than the first two prequels. The actions scenes are breathtaking and the acting far better than before. For once, Star Wars fans won't be disappointed."

huh.gif Well...

You know, The Extended Edition of Fellowship of the Ring had a fart joke too (with Merry and too much lembas bread...) I like a fart joke as much as the next person but to me, LOTR and Star Wars really aren't the places for them.

On the other hand, is it sad that I feel some small ray of hope in my soul after reading the thing where the spy says that the acting is better and the drama is much darker? Even with a farting Yoda joke that so clearly debases the character?

I'm hopeless. wink.gif

Hope is a good thing Roman. So forgive my cynicism, but I seem to recall the very same things being said about AotC...

....mmmm yoda farting seems a bit too far, even for lucas if that's possible. Do you think come may we'll actually have something positive to say about the PT on here or do you think the same old problem of the first two will affect this one as well?

Has anyone ever seen Terrence and Phillip on South Park? They fart on eachother for about five bucks a frame top. Lucas creates a multi million dollar CGI Yoda to do the same thing. The difference: It's funny when Terrence and Phillip do it.

The real question is: is there anything more that Lucas can do to make us lose the last shreds of respect and mystic that we held for the Jedi? Maybe a Jedi could sexually abuse one of the younglings and cause a scandal or something? Maybe Mace Windu could drink a coke and say something like "Coca Cola makes my midichlorians happy!"? Come on he dosnt have that much further to go, let's go for the gold! Maybe during the scene spoken of above Yoda and Chewy can mud wrestle!
