I am toying around with the idea of starting up a new forum strictly for video game discussion.

PC, Console, Old, New, etc. Reviews will be welcome as well as anything pertaining to video games or gaming in general.

What does everyone think of this idea? I am currently on the fence as it were.

It seems to me that it fits in well with general chat. I mean, if some people here are offended by video game chat it could be taken to a seperate forum, but I don't see any offense being taken.

Not that it would be a bad thing. The worst effect is that there will be one more forum to check, and that's not cosmically terrible.

why not just put in a different forum category.
you know like general chat, star wars, crappy news, video games.

That is what I'm thinking of doing. I'd like to see more video game reviews, chat, etc.

Having a place solely for VG chat would be awesome. It's a lot better than bringing the topics up out of nowhere in other threads. tongue.gif

Absolutely. Many of the topics on the other boards are about video games, and there are several video game fans here, as evidenced by their avatars. I’d spend most of my time here on the video game forum.

If time is a consideration for you, I could moderate it. I’m an administrator at Lazyness Emulation, a global moderator at FantasyAnime.net, and a global moderator at The Final Fantasy Forums. (Lazyness uses the Invision Board system, so I’m quite familiar with it.)

Due to an overwhelming majority I have started up the new forum. You can find it here: http://www.chefelf.c...hp?showforum=11

Enjoy.
