I dunno if this has been done yet or nto but I think I covered the nine most likley choices. I wanted to put Phantom Menace in as a gag but SOME people might take it seriously -glares at Jariten-

even when SW was my fav. i never included it in my top 10...
i know you singled out FOTR... but it's 3.5hrs of near 12hr cinematic story... and i think it only fair to create a different catigory for it...
(i think that argument cost me my last girlfriend) but i stand by it...
so i picked the shining. whaich is my second favorite movie of all time...
Bladerunner (DC) being my No.1.
apoc. now is pretty high up the list... esp the redux...
what a fanfriggintastic film!!!

Not as distressing as vomiting and shitting at the same time. There's some distress.
Plus RUSHMORE is better, and I am a fan.
Also, CHINATOWN.

Everyone I know holds this to be true. Weird. Rushmore is, believe it or not, my least favorite Wes Anderson movie. I'm not sure why that is. I love the movie! The difference is very, very slight but I'd probably rate them as follows:
Bottle Rocket: 9.6 out of 10
Rushmore: 9.3 out of 10
The Royal Tennenbaums: 9.7 out of 10
The Life Aqautic: We shall see
It's very slight, the differences I see in the three movies. They are three of my favorites and I love watching all of them immensely. There's just somethign about Tennenbaums that gets me.

Bah, keep your Rushmores and Royaal Teenenbaums and other such movies that begin with R. I shall forever advocate the breakfast club.

Pure genious! I laughed my ass off during that flick. Bill Murray was robbed! He should have won something for his role.
FAST TIMES AT RIDGEMONT HIGH and CLUELESS are better than the Breakfast club. But BC is still a tight movie.
