Me, with "zombie" eye makeup (I thought it looked all good in context of being gothic and silly, not slavering undead) for Hallowe'en, giving my phone the evils. The eyes might become a banner for the 'site someday...

That glare makes me feel happy for some reason...

I should get someone to take a picture of me when I'm doing my own psychotic/I hate you/"I will kill you with a glance" look. I have it on good authority that I look downright Evil when I do it, no death rings required.

EDIT: ...That woman has no face. That woman has no face!

Ok, dug up some old pics from Japan. Firstly, I would like to point out they were taken in late 2000, and at that time I looked like a twat. Well, I still do, just not so much. As I couldn't be bothered scanning them individually, I chucked them all in the scanner together. As such, I had to shrink the image to fit it on screen and the photos may be a bit difficult to make out. I apologise for being slack. If people really want, I could redo them properly. Allright. The top left photo is of me at Mt Sakurajima, near Kagoshima. Its a dormant vocano. Top right is a bit hard to remember. I think it was called "kin-something", as in Golden temple or somesuch, due to it looking like its made out of gold in the sunrise. Its actually just wood painted orange. The bottom picture is me dressed up like a samurai, because I'm awesome. That was taken about an hours drive from Kagoshima. Can't remember what the town was called sadly.

Man I looked stupid back then.

I call it my "I'm drunk, I've had the second worst night out ever, I've got cool eye makeup on, and I'm taking my own goddamn evil glare picture because I can!" look

Its miles better than my "I'm stoned out of my face, grinning like a twat, and want to embaress myself later with a stupid photo" look...

That sounds familiar. I remember the temple was at the top of a really big hill which I had to hike up. I went to Japan for about a month on a school trip with my Japanese class. We spent a week in Tokyo which I didn't really enjoy. Big city life doesn't sit well with me(and I mostly just ate cup o' ramen). Then we spent a weekend in Homestay in Kyoto or Kobe(around there somewhere). We then spent a week in Oshio(near Himeji), living on the top floor of a judo dojo. That was neat. The last two weeks were spent in homestay with Immaculate Heart College in Kagoshima.

Amber Nicole: And thanks for the positive feedback, no matter how bad I think I look smile.gif

Everyone is always their own worse judge. I think I look awful, but apparently atleast a few people disagree. blink.gif

Barend,

If you're inclined, feel free to use this one for future installments of LOTR. Thought it might be more Pippin-esque.
