I'd just like to say that I went to see National Treasure yesterday with Jen, Paul and Caolan. I think we all agreed that it was the best movie ever made.

You know, when I fist saw ads for this movie, my jaw dropped, and I shouted at the TV, I WANNA SEE THAT!"

If only I had the money for movies...*Sigh*

Steal the money from someone or sneak into the movie. As you will find out in the movie (I don't want to necessarily give anything away) but sometimes you have to do what seems wrong at the time to prevent something even worse from happening.

Nick Cage will make this all clear when you see it. I have my DVD reserved already. smile.gif

Seeing National Treasure was, by far, the greatest cinematic moment of my lifetime. I may also order the DVD, because I don't know if only having one copy in the house will be sufficient.

Really? You all seem quite content with the film, the way I felt after seeing School of Rock.

With all due respect, is some of the stirring coming from a "the us government is screwing us again" (m. moore emotions rising,) or is this a movie the whole country can enjoy? I can question authority If I feel personally led and not shepherded.

I don't question your opinions. Heck, that's what led me here but it seems a little cheesy to me. Still, I's got movie coupons from the auto show. smile.gif I've also heard "Ray" is a good film. but I'll see this if it's honestly endorsed.

If by "content" you mean "elated" then yes. smile.gif

The whole WORLD can enjoy it. It's not even a little bit political. It's just dumb. That's why it's so great!

Oh, it's cheesy, but so long as you're prepared for that going into it you'll have a rocking good time.

The best part is that I thought we would be the only ones in the theatre laughing but it was far from it. Everyone was laughing. It was just great fun!

When I saw the previews for this film the first thing I thought of was "the mummy". I don't understand why exactly, the only simularity between the two I know of is hunting for treasure.

I'm definitley going to go see it when it comes out at the theater up the street fomr my house.

I liked Nicolas Cage's peromance in Matchstick men, I think it was called.

Perhaps the worst movie I've ever seen.

This is what I learned from this movie:

1.The U.S.constitution is useless, it means nothing, its all about secret treasure, not those weird things called "liberties."

2.Freemasons are just a bunch of goofy pranksters

3.American History is just a prank

4.Nicholas Cage really cares

5.How funny it is when people suffer, its a real knee-slapper

6.Reality is so over-rated

7.America will buy anything

8.rich kids of masonic families get to have a lot of fun

9.reality is so boring

10.I want to be a freemason because its like being a kid again

the mummy movies were silly but enjoyable...
a freind of mine just told me he wants to go see it...

it was quite a funny reaction to the poster at the 7-11 near my place...
i believe his words were... "oh cool, it's made by disney so you know it will be good."
to which i said, "dude you suck"
to which he said "well not good, but they always throw heaps of money at SFX so you know it will look good!"
to which i said, "that's still lame but we might go see it anyway... by the way i still say you suck, polesmoker!!"

but this seems to push that a little further...
