Since this qualifies as my 1984th post, I felt it to be worthy of its own topic, what with 1984 being the year of my birth and all.

Mine too... What a year to be born, huh?

The sandpeople had women and children. We know this because Anakin killed them how could he tell? The children might be smaller but I never saw a sandperson with breasts. Did they hike their skirts and show him some leg or something?

Also, I can see the point of wanting to kidnap a human and use her as a slave, but they didn't. They tied her to a flimsy easel for a month. It's assumed they had to feed and give her water. What for? Was she purely ornamental? I can understand them wanting the droids, you can sell those for a lot of money, but a chick who's only skills are finding non-existand mushrooms and getting randomly pregnant, you're not going to get much.

I can't remember too much about that year. Although hate to brag, but I can't resist....

In 1980, the year I was born, The Empire Strikes Back was released.

In 1984, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom was released.

Ah, so sorry. wink.gif

Let's see? What can I actually remember from 1984.... hmm...

I think that was the year, I got in my Dad's car and took the handbrake off. I got told that that was a bit of drama everyone could have lived without, but hey - I never liked the old gate anyway. cool.gif

I wasn't even sperm in 1984. If you post two more times, Hecc, you'll be at the year I was born.

What the hell happened with Temple of Doom?

I was 3 in 1984. 2 years later I would start a huge GI JOE and HEMAN collection. My parents sold all my HEmans Because they looked like demons (worth a fair penny now) and my GI JOES are all safe in a big plastic box (300 +)

I remember small things from my early youth. I was scared and quiet. My sister beat the shit out of me. I remember space balls from long long ago.

But that was after 1984. I dont' remember jack all from that year. Hmm, My earliest memory with perfect recollection was DISNEY WORLD. I was 4 at the time.

I was also born in 1984, and I gave everyone a big scare then as well by turning blue when I was 8 hours old. I have a scar down my chest and one arcing across my back to my side from open heart surgery aquired at the time.

I was born in 1986, but I've read 1984 enough times for that number to make me nervous every time I see it...

As of this post, 8 more until I reach 2000. Thus proving once and for all that I really, really need a life.

Jane is born in 86? You people are so young. I assume every one is at least 20-21.

I was aware of your being a couple of years younger, but then I was around on the old EZBoards that Yahtzee had too, so I guess it's just because I've known you (sort of) a bit longer. Either way, though, most of the younger forum users that have ventured outside of Yahtz's board are far better company than those who stay put. There are reasons that I don't bother with his message board much anymore.

I have surpassed 2000 and entered the realms of "Complete Loser". Kneel before my oft-posting ways.
