You gotta let me know how that Nektar album is. I saw a vinyl copy at the record store recently, and stupidly didn't get it because I thought the price was a little steep. Maybe I'll go back later this week.

I already own the vast majority of those songs. I guess it's a decent introduction to good music, though.

Nektar - Recycled
Manfred Mann's Earth Band - Angel Station
Jon and Vangelis - Short Stories (Jon Anderson from Yes on vocals. Not bad!)
Phlegm (obscure DC punk band from the 80s)

I just got The Eminem Show and Encore a couple of days ago and it is the best rap I've heard for a long time. Its got it all, love hate, comedy, sex, more comedy. I just love: "Ass like that", "Mosh", "Yellow brick road", "Never enough" from Encore, and the skits are pure genius.

They're pretty good, but neither holds a candle to "The Marshall Mathers LP".

Oh my God...I bought some CDs!
Tori Amos - "Under The Pink"
Liars - "They Threw Us In A Trench And Stuck A Monument On Top"
Lightning Bolt - "S/T" (thus completing my LB collection. Sadly, I can't find this one anywhere on vinyl sad.gif )

And of course, VINYL!
New Order - "State Of The Nation/Shame Of The Nation"
Rough Trade - "Avoid Freud"
David Bowie - "Diamond Dogs"

I also got some keen M83 stickers and a promotional Death From Above 1979 poster. And a package of outer sleeves for my unsleeved records.
