An excellent laugh. A word of advice though. Don't try to drink every time there's something stupid. You'll end up with alcohole poisoning.

It is certainly not the worst movie I've ever seen.
The worst films I have ever seen include:
Phantom Menace
Attack of the Clones
Dawn of the Dead(New Remake)
Terminator 3
Alen vs. Predator
Kill Bill
Suspect Zero
National Treasure
I'd rather watch P9foS any day than rewatch any the above crap.

I am an avid collector of Ed Wood's work.
Seen Plan 9 several times.
I can say honestly:
1. It is NOT Ed Wood's worst movie.
2. It is NOT the worst movie ever. { the un_MSTified "Manos: The Hands of Fate" has that distinction}
You can actually enjoy Plan 9 from outer space. It is not a bad experienc.
A true "bad" film hurts when the viewer watches it. Plan 9 is harmless. It come off being more low budget rather than inept.
It;s even better if you watch the movie ED WOOD first.
BTW I recommend getting some of Ed Woods "racier" stuff if you can get it.

That is an understatement. Anyone that has seen ANYTHING else by Ed Wood would agree that Plan 9 isn't even close to his worst. It is most likely his finest moment. For his worst, try Jail Bait. It's spellbinding.
