Particularly frustrating because someone always says "okay you can stop now" and I think I have, only then it turns out I actually didn't and the next thing I know I'm on the floor missing a couple of seconds worth of memory. Namely, those couple of seconds that form the link between standing up and looking kind of stupid and lying down with no idea how I got there.

Tuesday was an EE exam which I studied for hours for and still didn't understand the material. I listen to the professor talk, and I read the textbook, and I attend recitations, but it still all sounds like a foreign language to me. I signed up to get a tutor, but they don't seem to have enough since I haven't been assigned one yet.
Wednesday was an AI problem set, which took hours and hours and hours to debug the stupid depth-first search, and it turns out the way to fix it was something I thought I had already tried hours ago.
yesterday was EE lab, which took most of the day to do, and the best part is they never really showed us how to use the equipment. and I didn't get to eat until about 9pm. then I felt like death, probably since I hadn't eaten until 9pm and I hadn't gotten much sleep the night before, so I pretty much just went to sleep after that.
and today in about three hours is the biology exam, which I have not started studying for until now. the week's not over yet.
oh, and the radiator in my room seems to only have two settings: inferno and more inferno.

Remember Emu's face, people; one day it's going to be on the news alongside a headline about blowing some landmark to smithereens, and then we can all sigh and say, "She was such a normal person".....
....We'd be lying though.

Behold the power of generic prescription medication. Bwahhahahahahahaha!!!!
The only drawback is that when I do get sick or my allergies overcome me, it is one of the worst things that I've ever experienced.

Talking of bikes, there was a time over thirteen years ago when I had my first bike, this bike was blue in colour with a largely raised seat. The stearing and ride was so smooth. On the day of staying away at someone else's place to get away from the problems of my place, I was adjusting the gears outside and I was approached by the locals who offered to help tune it as they had bikes too. One of them snatched it from me after setting the gears perfectly, rode it round the corner in a bush and smashed up the frame. I only found it searching with the person who I was staying at, the teenager came out from the bush and started his abusive parade at both of us. He punched me at the side of the head before walking off and I never done anything to him. Yet I couldn't do anything back because these people were twice the size of me. Saddest day after receiving it two weeks before as a birthday present. The police said they had better things to do. I am guessing it because of the colour of my skin. After the shop repaired and inserted the new steering frame which was black, the steering was rough, out of shape and the gears had problems. Kind of took my trust away from people.
Power supplies
Two years ago when I brought back a graphics card in which burn't out the cheap bundled 450 watt power supply that came with a package, the man in a shop said to me that the power supplies they sell can only be utilized up to 70 to 75% load in which the burst rate was within. He agreed with me that it was misleading to exaggerate something that is untrue but "most of our customers only have lower powered graphics cards and under two drives." I disagree in setting a false sense of security.
Now one of cheap power supplies downstairs that made a noise had a burst capacitor. This is one reason why I think cheap should not be brought. Hearing about the incident several years ago involving cheap poorly designed capacitors being sold in large batches to manufacturers. I have three power supplies, a GeForce 4 graphics card and an AMD board with burst capacitor so far.
Point blank: I have to folk out $120 dollars for the power supply I think that will do the job, correctly. I like Enermax with the copper plated heatsinks.
