DS: What are you charging? And I've heard that Perl is really easy to use and learn. You should pick up a how-to book on the subject.

Eight way battery charger, with a serial port for battery information. The Voltcraft software works okay but I want to transport the information to a web page which is why I am wanting to make this work.
Unfortunately I do not know the commands in the areas of language, which is why I need help in asking questions. It may take me a long time to get the help needed.
I have the equipment, software but not the knowledge. I did exactly what it stated with the serial port module but I have problems on knowing what to do, or how change directory in Active Perl.
If anyone could help, I will be pleased.

Shame, I have the equipment software but not the knowledge or knowing what to do.

Sorry, but I was just thinking... Dee might actually understand it perfectly. Anyone who's ever had to scan through fifty pages of Perl-Code for bugs will agree with me.

I find it ugly to post a site with a huge link from Google translation. Why translate something I already know?
Does not mean I am German.

No I have never used Perl before, and from what I have seen I do not know where to start with problems I am having, with the commands.
I would be grateful if anybody can reserve the time to help me out to help get this working, and in return I could try to make it up to them.

And all the translated text says is that DS knows German.

Yes I am going to do that later when I have more time.
I am not German, it is that the products there never let me down before in appearance or usage.
Perfection is what I am looking for, to learn to make that perfection work is vital for me.
