Fine! I take back my hugs! I was just trying to be nice... Maybe I wanted a hug, ever think of that? crying.gif
I am writing about Jm in my signature because apparently it's an effective method of ignoring him.

I'm sorry, terribly sorry, didn't mean to offend. crying.gif

Although it's a bit late, I wish everyone in the thread a solemn anniversary of the 1929 St. Valentine's day massacre. Oh, and I appreciated the hug, Spoon.

Apparently writing about JM here is his secret weakness. Muwahaha!!!! Now I have leverage over him and am another step closer towards my goal of world domination.

I credit finding my girlfriend on a blessing, some Karma, and a whole lot of luck.

Complaint: People who buy bouquets of flowers for V-Day. They're all going to die in a week! You're only showing your Valentine that you're frivolous with money. Which I guess is a good thing if she (and possibly he, I suppose) is shallow and currency oriented. pinch.gif Get something personal that will last instead. (I'm working on that.)

Man, it's tough to keep thinking of things that are a bit more personal than the cliche stuff. I ended up getting her a single red rose, a medium sized box of chocolates, and a humorous/semi-romantic card (the card got good laughs).

Ah well, you can't get them all. I've done pretty good for the rest of the year though.

Hehe, thanks for all the hugs, guys. smile.gif

I think potted plants or pretty cacti or flowers that you can plant outside are a good substitute for the bouquet, but sometimes it is nice for a girl to get flowers or something like that, because you are being frivolous. It's the statement, I care about you so much that I'm willing to spend money on you that's not a "good investment," persay... Though I personally do prefer more lasting gifts, and something more personal (that comes from a shared memory or something) is nice...

But alas, no gifts on Valentine's Day for me this year.

Well then, an attempt at poetry for a gift from me to you.

Roses are sweet,
Spices are neat,
A flower is not meat.

So here's to hoping you don't get the flu,
and a Happy Valentine's Day to you.

edit: And that can go out to any ladies out there without someone to grace with their presance today.

Me too, but I'm trying to hone my skills/figure out a better look. Try as I might, I can barely get anything below the shoulders to look right. All the girls look swollen and misshapen, and all the guys look womany or prepubescent. angry.gif

Why is a skinny male torso so tricky to draw?
