Yeah this is horrible. I had never heard of her before now, so maybe she was a difficult person or something, but saying something like "It's about fucking time" in response to the death of a person who has done you no harm ... is something something something.

The thing about Jade Goody is, she was remarkably ignorant, ugly, and bigoted, so naturally the Prime Minister sent her his best wishes on her wedding day and the nation wept in an outpouring of grief not seen since Diana when she found out she had terminal cancer. A painfully drawn-out daily examination of her remaining weeks left little else by way of news in the tabloids, which is probably where Game Over's sentiment arises.

Wow. You guys sure kept that one to yourselves then. Of course, what do I know, since I pretty much never read the tabloids and don't have cable anymore. But yeah; never heard of her before now.

I would have mentioned that but I'm in Australia and wasn't sure if that was fact or my assumption. The news report showed clips of her and she seemed very... unpleasant. Despite this, it was a positive news review of her.

I really wouldn't expect you to, she was a purely British 'celebrity' (not counting when they started burning effigies of her in India).
Well, she was given as an example on what not to do on reality TV if you want to retain a career in various places as well. Personally, though, I've only really heard of her because Jo O'Meara was involved in the scandal.

I had a mate staying, and he woke up to me in his room singing "ding dong the witch is dead."
I hated that waste of DNA. Her dying of cancer was the best thing that ever happened to her, it put that moron out of her misery, not in a kind way.
