Anyone attend? I Was there on saturday walked past this tall strapping man with a trilby hat on, and i immeadiatly said to myself, was that Yahtzee? frantically turning aruond to try and see if it was. I Eventually convinced myself it was yahtzee himself. So i come on fullyramblomatic and read in the news he was attending.

So i'm fairly happy. I Met Jewel Staite and Saw Yahtzee. Risky = Very Happy.

Anyone else see Yahtzee/Enjoy gawking at Jewel staite?

Hey People,

I saw Yahtzee While I was waiting in the VERY LONG line to get in. He was walking to the end of the line, which was around a corner out of sight.

Would have gave him Cuts (Back Cuts) if I knew it was him...Though someone was Cosplaying as him.

Other then Seeing him there, Didn't see him. I was Banished to the back Behind that stupid Wrestling thing... (Please note, IT WAS SO STUPID) Playing HeroClix...

I wonder if Yahtzee is going to Gen Con, (It has games), he has to Drop in at the HeroClix Game there, It's the nationals.

Also over heard some people talking about Yahtzee in the front of Mr. Toys Toyworld Booth, While I was hunting Illidan, During a 5 sec between rounds of HeroClix. They were kind Creepy, all dressed in black.

On a Closing Note, Cosplayers are Fun/funny, and Wrestling needs to Die a Fast Painful Death RIGHT NOW!!!

Cosplayers are fun times: it's not a real convention until I've spotted at least ONE Super Sailor Moon. I don't cosplay characters though, except original ones. It's a great excuse to wear all the weirdest stuff I own.

A pro of summer classes: I'll be around for Fanime, AX, and Comic Con... Which I should probably start planning for.

Hm, I wonder if I could get a "5 Days a Stranger" cosplay group going for Fanime...

American ones that have frightened me do that via a grotesquely bad job by being overweight that usually incites some form of "oh god, you've raped my endearing memories of the character!" I'm not sure where all the overweight people in Asia are... because minus old people, I can't find them...

From my experience... Japanese (and other Asian ones. >_> I commissioned a Hong Kong cosplay costume maker and his little "cool stuff I did" album and his excessive collection of gun blades were wicked...) cosplayers scare me by doing a job so good that I am mildly frightened somehow...

Japanese have an excuse, because Japanese make weird stuff. Compared to the things that have come out of Japan, something as stupid and creepy as cosplaying doesn't affect me when a Japanese person is doing it, it's something I expect.

When I see an American or white person do it, it's just plain creepy. Adults, playing dress-up, just doesn't do it for me.

Models make their livings doing exactly that.

I say the day when I'm too old to appreciate how much fun it is to pretend you're your favorite character for a day, or just wear a really crazy outfit out in public without fear of anyone calling the cops... when I'm too old to consider that fun, you might as well shoot me.

Kaxen, for a while I had a large roommate: she was born in America, raised in Sydney, and very Chinese. She's the only one I can think of though.

And too female as well, when people stray across the gender barrier in cosplay we end up with this...

I am proud to report that as an American I am 6'0" and 170 lbs, thank you very much.
There are quite a few fat Americans, mind you... but we're hardly all fat.

We do, however, all wear Cow Boy hats and carry pistols around.

I know Americans aren't all fat. >_> it's just extremely hard to ignore the ones who are... especially when they attempt to wear skimpy clothes... *cringe*

Or Man-Faye.

Glory unto him, it is not his Spandex Hot Pants that make him what he is. It's his attitude. This guy is a born showman. People line up to smack his ass. No joke.

Oh you can scoff, you can retch, you can run away screaming, but he gets more girls with that outfit then George Clooney at the Lonely Housewife Convention.
