Things are Great, Chefelf! No, Guy Fawkes Day was celebrated in the recurring birthdays thread. And Civie's coming up I believe. This forum is kinda Scorpio laden if I remember correctly.

As for the south, it hit freezing last night, and my back pain is "back". But I've no complaints really. Got some nice gifts, cakeZ and all that. Mom sent me a finger drum set (from Hammacher Schlemmer, I think), which I'd never seen before.

Thanks for thinking of me. I like the fast reply feature of the upgrade!
