Man Sells Daughter to Buy Son a PS3;
Mom Sells Son to Buy Daughter a Wii

Thursday, December 14 12:00 AM ET

Little Rock, Arkansas The inflated costs of the new gaming consoles have forced many parents to extreme measures to get their children the latest offerings from Nintendo and Sony. Some reports have people paying over $3000 for a PlayStation 3. Other reports show people camping out for days to be the first to get a Wii. However, they pale in comparison to the tragic story of Marge and Frank Young.

The Youngs had eleven-year-old twins, a son Jim and a daughter, Della. Jim wanted a PlayStation 3 and Della wanted a Wii. The parents, because of layoffs at the chicken plant, were too poor to afford either. However, they didn't want to disappoint their kids.

Frank, who loved his son more than anything, decided to sell his daughter into the Asian sex trade to raise money to buy a PlayStation 3.

Unknown to him, at the same time his wife, Marge, was selling their son to hustlers in Los Angeles to get money to buy a Wii for their daughter.

After returning home from their prospective sales with smiles on their faces and the latest consoles under their arms, the parents realized their tragic mistake. They had a Wii and a Playstation 3, but no children to play with them.

"I had mixed feelings," said Mr. Young. "I was touched that my wife was willing to sell our son to get a Wii for our daughter, but I was pissed off that I had a PS3 and no son to play it with. After a few hours playing Twilight Princess on the Wii, I perked right up though," said Mr. Young.

Mrs. Young, however, was furious, "I'm so angry with Frank for selling Della. Now, some perverted Thai businessman will get to see the look on her face on Christmas morning instead of me."

Two weeks later they were forced to sell their consoles to make bail on charges that they sold their kids.

"No kids and no consoles. It's a tragedy all around," said Mr. Young.

Thanks to the good Doctor for this one.

That's some twisted gift of the magi thing they got going on.

However, I'm pretty sure this is fake. The site looks like a SomethingAwful wannabe (though I can't say which site actually came first or is better). And repercussions would be a lot worse than this, and the journalist writing the article would not be so sympathetic...
I am writing about Jm in my signature because apparently it's an effective method of ignoring him.

It sounds unrealistic to happen but I am not in that reality.
How were they sold? I mean where were they taken?
Did the parents drive them off at meeting points?

Always be careful for what you wish for.
Children to be happy and consoles divided by the cost.
But they wanted all three and couldn't sustain it.

Moral IS, it is better to be straight and direct rather than bent. Therefore the children won't have much to loose because they know what can be afforded. Sensibly to make some tough choices, raise the money or find work if they really want it.

When people go out so far to please others using the wrong ways this is what can happen. I think the bail money should go towards trying to get the children back. Unless of the course the authorities profit from that.

The two generated dodgy trade money
In exchange for their children
To use them as gifts
Rainy day has arrived
They lost both
With no chance
Of a return ticket

There is a saying to this: Easy Come Easy Go!

Ignoring that, though, how did they get more money from the daughter?

So this isn't news or crappy news, it's fake news? Like the one I did about the firework shop. If anybody is interested in making up fake news.

No wonder why I couldn't find much on global sites.

Assuming the rock doesn't crush you.

One thing that gave it away by sounding unreleastic was the lack of detail of how the children were picked up and the emotion feed, too much at the end, to little in the middle such as the part where he had a PS3 but no son to play it.

I still love you, Chyld!

If you had played it off like, "Oh, Spoon, Ninja Duck, you guys screwed it up, I was just playing a joke on you all!" I would have played along and apologized... But seriously, don't feel bad. I've been duped by fake news stories online, too - which is why I always check these things out if it's a website I don't know or trust.

Hehe. Aww. I smelled something rotten in the state of Denmark from the beginning, and it's a pretty funny story given that it's not real.

And they do, I just refuse to believe it until I've studied the evidence firsthand. No, I refuse to explain myself.

Hence why I need to be under a rock for a month. One d'n'b gig, one corporate-fuelling holiday and a few lectures are not reasons to get out of bed.

Well, OK, Pendulum are, but only because they're so bloody good.
