I have much Geek Joy over finally getting my very own figure of the Mister Master, especially after discovering that all the pictures I've seen on the ordering sites really don't do it justice - it really is a good likeness of John Simm! Although, it also feels a bit weird having it considering this is the first action figure, or actual toy, I've bought in ten or eleven years...

Now I need to get a Tenth Doctor for him to torment play with. And maybe Nine. That new Ninth Doctor looks awesome.

(*wanders off to fangirl*)
Check out my crappy drawings!

I just got one of the prettiest divination decks in the world! It's illustrated by Brian Froud - the artist behind Good Faeries, Bad Faeries, Labyrinth, the Dark Crystal, etc. I am very excited about it, though more about the artwork than the divination. smile.gif

OK, so the brief backstory is that I'm a Warhammer nerd, been out of the loop for a while but starting to get back into the painting/modelling.

So I ordered some parts from their website, and they sent me the wrong parts. Since it was from their resin department, a small and generally shiny part of the company, they sent me the right parts without any quibbling, and suggested I give the parts to someone who could use them.

So I puts them on ebay.

The auction finishes on Sunday, but people were bidding within three hours of me putting it up. And now biddings going higher than the parts originally cost. Its madness. But if things carry on well, profitable madness.

Also, I'm considering bringing back Less Is More. No promises yet, its just an idea, and it'd just be the odd rant, and maybe a Henry Skull once in a green moon. And I'd need some money for webspace. But watch, not this space, but a very similar one.

I have gummy worms!!! I'm so elated.

However, I treated myself to the gummy worms to reward myself for doing something icky, so it kinda balances out.

But still! GUMMY WORMS!!!! laugh.gif

I was able to find dark chocolate covered prezels yesterday! I also have my first *real job* interview tomorrow. I am excited and terrified. But it's a phone interview, so it could be worse on my psyche. Don't screw up, me. Your future is riding on not sucking now. pinch.gif

Pretend the person on the other end of the line is naked. Just don't take it too far and ask "What are you wearing?" or anything like that.

Good luck.

The HR person is a woman; If I took your advice, my girlfriend would beat me up. tongue.gif I've never really understood the reasoning behind that whole thing, anyway. You go from awkward social situation to using your dwindling mental capacities to try to imagine and even more awkward social situation that you also need to somehow interact in?

Elated moment: Only two hours and four minutes of work left today!

I think the reasoning behind it is to help you feel less self-conscious, or something. I don't know, I have no idea if it actually helps.

It does help, however, to verbally reassure yourself beforehand. It may sound absurd, but it works. So does taking deep breaths or even rolling out a mat and doing yoga.

Further to that, its definatly going to happen now. Just need to work out how I'm doing it, and put it together, and basically everything. Once again, watch a space in this generalm area.

EDIT: See complaining thread. sad.gif

How many crashes does it take to reach the "beyond words" level of description? tongue.gif Seriously, though, be a Malkavian some time. Amazing dialogue options. Preferably be it after at least one playthrough so you know what your Malkavian is talking about.
