"Pants" is such a fun word too. I've taken to shouting, "Roommate's wearing PANTS!!!" whenever the statement holds true.

If her roommate was me, the answer would be often.
There was a good venn diagram floating around that had two non-intersecting circles, one reading "Times when I am truly happy." and the other "Times when I am wearing pants." That sums it up quite nicely.
