I mean, DBZ is great, but it's not exactly a very deep series. If you like people beating the crap out of each other, then you're in the right place. If you want something psichological (sp?) and twisted, try Evangelion.

Dragonball is comedy gold. Goku is just too cute as a kid. DBZ...eh, I used to watch it, but I can see what people mean about it being a 30 minute grunt and yell fest. GT, never saw it, don't plan to.
As for my favorites? Oh, so many choices
Slayers is easily near the top of the pile, along with most Universal Century Gundam (Mobile Suit Gundam, 0080, 0083, etc), the Tenchi OAVs, Outlaw Star...hell, I could go on forever. Another personal favorite is Nuku Nuku, but maybe that's just my thing for catgirls talking...

Dragon Ball is great stuff. Too bad down here the anime was a little bit censored, but as the chapters advanced, they stopped censoring it and we could enjoy it as it was meant to be.
Dragon Ball Z is very different. Enjoyable if you like to watch people beating the hell out of each other (that means, if you are like me)
Dragon Ball GT... it was sad. I lost interest after 20 chapters. I skipped directly to the last.
Now I'm reading a manga called Battle Royale... great stuff.

Dragon Ball Z, was one of the best cartoons ever, but the new, GT was a lame, only the first ten episodes were a like good.

yah i remember liking dragon ball, i was just getting caught up in the moment of insulting things. Dragon ball gt had great possibility. they ruined it of course.

Umm, if I remind well, I think that the only thing I liked of Dragon Ball GT was the fusion of Goku and Vegeta in Super Saiyan 4

i concour that Dragonball Z was good...I also liked the Gundam Wing, G Gundam, Ghost in Shell, and hmmmmmmm......Prolly Full Metal Alchemist. THese are my favorite animes but i dont watch them much anymore.
