I just though you lovely people might like to know that Yahtzee (Mr. Croshaw) has won the 'Hero of the Year' vote at Peoww. You can read about it here:

It's great news for Yahtzee! But it's a little weird that they didn't say why he got the award, what he does, or link to his site or the Escapist. People that don't know who he is will have to do a Google search to find out.

If they're such big fans, where's the free plug? wink.gif

Good for him. I wish I could win an award or something.

The only reason my mum knows Yahtzee is because he's my father.

Fuck, what an awesome thought.

Yeah, you didn't know Yahtzee's son posted on his forums? It's a little weird, I know, but he makes good work and I'm proud of him. Keep it up, dad!

In an interstellar burst....he is back to save the universe....

Yahtzee, good job! Cheer the hearts of millions with your sarcastic, caustic comments! Have people dance in joy with your insulting, degrading game reviews! Be a hero for liberty, justice, and all that crap!

In all seriousness....we're talking about Yahtzee. There is no such thing as seriousness here.

Stop the press! He has now achieved all that he can, his status can only decline from here.

No, he'll be found dead as a result of an overdose of sleeping pills soon - stress of the high life and all. The papers will pick it up, everyone will be sad and miss the old jokers humourous reviews. And accusations of homosexuality will be dug up. FACT.
