And it is BORING!
Why am I torturing myself like this? I really hope Harry gets wacked in the last book. Him and his little goodietwoshoes friends.

Remember Emu's face, people; one day it's going to be on the news alongside a headline about blowing some landmark to smithereens, and then we can all sigh and say, "She was such a normal person".....
....We'd be lying though.

If it makes you feel any better, I wasn't a big fan of that book either.
I'd like a qui-gon jinn please with an obi-wan to go.

At the moment, I am reading The Picture of Dorian Gray. I saw the film years ago and I loved it. I've only seen the b/w version with color inserts when they show the actual picture. Classic!

Yeah that movie sucked ass. It sucks worse now that I've read the book.

As for the HBP, it was going somewhere, and then it kind of dwindled off at the very end about who the Half Blood Prince really was. I think a more decent title for the sixth book should have been:
Harry Potter and the Year of Irrelivant Lunacy
The whole HBP plot was more of a subplot when there were bigger things going on in that book. Yeah, I know these books are for kids, but the title of the sixth book was somewhat misleading, being that pretty much the entire book wasn't about the Half Blood Prince! WTH?! All joking aside, I did enjoy this book too.

Has anyone read any other Orson Scott Card books other than Ender/Bean, that are any good? I read the blurbs and they just don't seem to interest me.

+ Nick Hornby's High Fidelity, some of you might remember the movie. Dunno what to think of it, really, since I'm somewhere in the middle of it, but it's got a lot of potential.
+ Alfred Bester's Demolition. A classic, I tell ya (whilst still being drunk). It's one of the best science-fiction books I've read so far, you should read it if you ever get the chance, it's very inspiring.
+ Various Books on Economics, Business Organizations, Service Managment, Financial Mathematics, System Engineering, etc. etc. etc. ... can't really say that I'm impressed of those, though.
