Better than the previous one.
The nose is too long, the mouth is a little too far down and the eyes a little too high up. The brim of a trilby should curve upwards a little at the front and more towards the back. The lips are invisible, so raise them out from the surface more and shape them properly. You've given him what looks like a double chin, add some more definition around the neck and a better shape to the chin. It may just be the angle or the shading but the two eyes seem asymmetric, the corner of the right eye looks squarer. The pupils need to be fixed on the same spot, not one higher than the other.
And he looks as thick as two short planks. Less of the inane grin, lower the eyebrows and narrow his eyes slightly.

HOLY JESUS FUCK that's going to give me nightmares. Please at least stop posting these until you've come up with something that isn't freakishly bizarre.
If you're not gonna help, you don't have the right to complain.

Here's some hopefully helpful advice:
1. Usually a persons ear starts at the top of a person's brow and continues down to the bottom of a persons nose. I realize Trilby is not a real person but perhaps you could shorten the nose a little (keep the same narrow width for it looks accurate).
2. The hat is nice, but I might make the poofy part at the bottom a little less curved so that you have more of a straight edge. I meant, make the connection between the "funnel" and the "can" look like two lines connecting at a single point, rather than one curved line.
3. Keep at it, you already know more about 3d rendering than me.

It's getting harder for me to change it. I always thought Trilby was very thin and had a jewish-like long nose. Just like a stereotyped cat burglar would look like, in my mind. Now I'll have to spend some time imaginating and finding more reference images.
Just to make it clear, I intend to make him cartoon-like, not a realistic person. And are you guys sure there is nothing wrong with the hair?

It should curve around the face a little more, and be less jagged. If you're going for the cartoony look then it's not that bad. Hair is hard to do, I believe.

Like bullshit I don't. Not when Plasticine Trilby comes to eat my head in my sleep.
