How to Create an Xbox ISO File

There are several other reliable programs for making Xbox-compatible ISO files but Craxtion is one of the most popular and my personal favorite. For the purposes of this tutorial we will use Craxtion which can be downloaded from craxtion.com.

Open Craxtion:

Click on "Add" down at the bottom and select the directory that contains the Xbox game's files. Make sure to double-click on the each directory. Single-clicking will not open the directory containing the files.

Choose your destination folder. This is where your ISO file will be created.

Click Finish.

A window will pop up to alert you to which files were patched. It will search all XBE files to see if they contain a media check. If Craxtion finds a media check it will report "Successfully Patched!" If not it will report: "Does not need Patching"

Repeat this process for all of the ISOs you wish to create.

When you've selected all the ISOs you want to make, click "Create ISO(s)"

You have just successfully created an Xbox-compatible ISO image.

You can now burn this image to CD/DVD using your preferred CD/DVD burning program.
