You know looking at all the recent posts regarding ROTJ has solidified an opinion I have had about ROTJ.

I think whether one likes ROTJ or not, is dependent on one's view of the Star Wars story as a whole.

I think the people that hate ROTJ, have a very unique view of the Star Wars storyline as opposed to the ROTJ lovers.

And I think the difference in these viewpoints about Star Wars become crystal clear when the anti-ROTJ people give examples of how they would do ROTJ differently.

It's a very interesting analysis on people's take of the Star Wars storyline.

Without having any massive arguments or fights, I would like to hear:

1. Whether you liked ROTJ or not
2. If you hated it, what you would have changed in it.
3. Sum what Star Wars is about in one paragraph. What you feel is the essence of the story.

I really would be fascinated to see the responses.

Time to roast a movie here!!!!

Well it;s the 21st century, guys. Looking back at this movie what do you all think??

Trying to come up with a quick list of sequels that should never have been made.

AS a rule I am precluding trilogies or the third movies of any trilogies or movies in a series. In other words no, Godfather Part III, ROTJ, Return of the King, Star Trek movies or Bond films.

I;'m talking about a list of movies that really didn;t need a sequel.

I'm also trying to discount movies who's originals were god awful to begin with.

Well anyway my list is.

1. French Connection II
2. Hannibal
3. Two Jakes
4.The Highlander {well okay it is a trilogy, but the two movies were so bad}
5. Analyze That
6. Cocoon the Return
7. Speed 2
8. Grease 2
9. Blair Witch II
10. They Call Me Mr. Tibbs

First some apologies.

Apologies to JYAMG & civilian two for any profane comments or insults I may have levied against them a month back { Jesus, I sound like a lawyer for Jacoby & Meyers!!! }

But I really appreciate the time and arguments and views we share on this site.

I was in a very depressed state a few months back with not only the loss of a not one but two people. but also a sort of a "professional disappointment" that made me question pursuing a career in film. Just made me doubt my insticts a little. It's difficult for me to talk about it . I guess I was just a litte to ambitious...... I dunno....

Well enoght of that. Good to be back. Although my appearances on this forum will be much more sparse as things get a little hectic as of late.

Now all that being said. My first topic as you can tell is gonna be a controversial one!!!!! !

The Ewoks!

Yes those fuzzy, cute little brown bastards you guys love to loathe.

Upon thinking about whether you guys are right about the Ewoks.......it sorta dawned on me.

"The Ewoks are the "Star Wars" equivalents of dwarves"

I won;t explain this thought but I will rather give you guys some questions here.....

1. Why are there dwarves, hobbits, gnomes, and in literature at all?
2. What purpose do they serve?
3. Would Frodo, Samwise's characters in LOTR change if they were regular sized humans???

I've just been extremely angry and sad over a loss of a person.............

Something that.........never .....should of happened.

We all saw the signs...........We just sat back and ignored them.

I thought she was one of the most beautiful people inside and out and a person which had such a brilliant scope for someone so.........young.
