I just donwloaded the definitive edition of ep.IV and was watching the last Death Star sequence, and was wondering what Lucas changed between the Original movie and the new edition DVD because this sequence seemed alto longer, and may have included scenes I've never seen before in my life....what are they? if any?

4. Anni is now evil, and for another unapparent reason he hates Palps, he wants to dethrone him!!!! What the hell???? I thought he was a "mentor and a friend", what but now you can defeat him?? Damnit!!
5. Anni chokes Padme (wha????????????? I gues she had it coming, with hanging out with Obi-Wan, did anybody else think there was an affair of sorts going on here???!!!! Where's Samuel Jackson; Is he in Portman's dressing room again??????)

I was watching AOTC and listening to the commentary, and somewhere in there, I always forget, Lucas mentions something about Anakin's lust for power, and need to control the Galaxy... Why didn't that play into Ep. 3 at all!?
Thinking back on it, Ep. 3 tried as hard as it possibly could, to make Anakin look like he was "brain-washed" by Palp. to become a Sith Lord. Lucas should have made Anakin have more of a lust for supreme POWER over the galaxy instead of him turn into a Sith after Padme dies!!!(or because of her!) Why didn't he just Kill himself after she died, I mean I thought he COULDN"T LIVE without her! He shoulda gone into a depression instead of yelling NO!!! and then becoming badass!! It doesn't make sense....

I need an icepack for my brain.....
