Have you noticed that they basically stole the designs from existing SW posters?

WHY DIDNT THEY JUST USE THOSE ORIGINAL COVERS!?!?!

Now we are stuck with Hayden Christiansen in the Darth Vader suit....an extremely cartoony looking Vader in the ROTJ cover, and bad photoshopping filter effects. We still have a "post car accident" Luke on episode 4.

"See the title crawl to Star Wars before it was known as Episode IV; see the pioneering, if dated, motion control model work on the attack on the Death Star; groove to Lapti Nek or the Ewok Celebration song like you did when you were a kid; and yes, see Han Solo shoot first."

So even though in our new OT dvd we will be getting a reconstructed crawl, we STILL HAVE TO SEE IT ON THE DVD COVER?!?!

WTF?

I am not buying these things. Any half-assed DVD doesnt deserve my money. Especially considering the DVD's themselves wont have any color correction and wont be anamorphic.

meh, not really.

on the ROTJ manga cover....i could look at that and not know that its anakin skywalker.

besides... by the second movie, who didnt see this one coming?

Heh....I was playing through the game the other day and for some, random reason, while going against the tank, the whole Tiananmen square thing popped into my head and I couldnt help but LOL.

So, I screen capped it and made a thread.

EDIT: Saying that I lol'd makes me sound like a horrible person...in reality I was laughing more because of that early bit on Family Guy where Peter see's the guy holding his hand up against the tank and says "screw this...I just came to get some fireworks!"
