Seriously . . . George Lucas was lucky as all hell to get an actor with the pedigree of a Jimmy Smits to portray Bail Organa. With the possible exceptions of Alec Guinness, Harrison Ford, Ewan McGregor, and Liam Neisen, has there been a better all-around actor to grace the Star Wars universe?

Am I the only one extremely annoyed by all these commercials? Yoda using Jedi mind tricks to get a diet Pepsi. Vader staring down the Burger King guy . . . and so on and so on . . .

If you love the movie, do you love the corporate tie-ins? Is the converse true?

What do you all think of this line? (ObiWan's reply to "You're either with us or against us") I'm sure most of you have heard about it. Does it have any bearing on some of the arguments people have been having here? Is Lucas that much of a liberal? Will the red states rebel?

The reveiwer from ign.com (as seen in a previous post - "It All Makes Sense Now . . .") brought up an EXCELLENT point. I can't believe I've never thought of this in all the years I've obsessed about these films:

If Jedi can fly (or at least jump safely from great heights, as we saw Luke and Vader and Anakin do, among others), then how come Palpatine couldn't stop himself from falling to his death in ROTJ after Vader throws him?

And don't forget, we're talking about the most powerful Sith Lord/Dark Jedi out there!!
