Hi, Mnesymone. I'm very new here and I didn't know you, but I quite liked your comments!

Ah, the midichorians. This stupid things, along with the fact that a non-Jedi will fight with lightsabers in Ep III, are the things that bothers me the most in these new movies. (And we are talking about movies that showed a pod race, lame plots and darth maul! But, no, really, nothing pissed me more than that!)

If I think this prequel trilogy is hugely UNNECESSARY, can you imagine what I think about a TV series?

ANH, ESB and ROTJ were so great (even with all the flaws), simply those three movies were enough to keep Star Wars alive for me for the rest of my life!

Besides, Lucas said once he would love to finish the saga and forget all this, didn't he?

Hmmmm... a good moment in the PT? Yoda saying: "Fear is the path for the dark side. Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering!" was a great moment for me. (when I heard this for the first time I thought Yoda would remain the wisest and greatest Jedi for all the next movies... what obviously didn't happen!)
Another good moment, I hate to admit, was the lightsaber duel in TPM. Although I hated Darth Maul and thought Qui Gon should never exist, that duel was something really beautiful. Well, I really think it was!

But I THINK the best moment of all three movies will be in the third. Of course it depends on how it will be presented, but the fight between Anakin and Dooku will probably be the best moment (FOR ME) in the third movie, for all I have read and seen. Because... it will be fascinating to compare this fight with the one between Luke and Vader in ROTJ... I think this will be the moment to show in what Luke and Anakin were different, and how...
Sad to say is, if this scene really REALLY works, it will be a quick great moment in a stupid unnecessary movie that is ending a stupid unnecessary trilogy!

Well, the moment I realized all that was crap... the past being ridiculously more advanced than the future was something that made me really unconfortable, Qui-Gon melting a door with a lightsaber, even if it was a minor detail, wasn't what I was prepared to watch, Jar Jar wasn't really a character I would expect... but all this could be forgiven! The crucial moment when all went down was when the word "midi-chlorian" was pronounced. From that moment on, that wasn't Star Wars anymore for me!

Hi! That´s my first post, and it took me a looooong time to decide to log in and share the conversation. But you all are so nice, and have ideas and opinions so similar than mine! So I decided to forget that my native language isn´t English (and I´m not that good at writing in this language!!) and join!

Because the real Star Wars is a huge part of my life, and it´s all being ruined by this... prequel...
