1980s building brick transforming mechs
Posted 6 Sep 2010
I remember not long after Transformers were released everything went transformer, there were GoBots, M.A.S.K, Voltron, Sweet Secrets for the girls, transforming stencils, magnetic Alphabet bots, and even transforming Ghostbuster figures in the real Ghostbusters series.
But what I really want to know is, what was the name of the series of Lego type of transforming Mecha-Vehicles that were developed around 1985-89? They were building brick toys that when assembled, it could transform from vehicle to mecha mode. There was a Helicopter, a Tank, and I think a beach-buggy, and I think there were even more, but I cannot find any information on them anywhere on the internet. Can anyone help? It is very frustrating.
