After almost a month of inactivity:

Why you no want Portal?!

Seriously, I think I'd rather play Portal more than Episode 2 or Team Fortress. It looks sweet.

My biggest disappointment over Episode 1 was its lack of physics-based puzzles (or puzzles at all, really). I mean, what's the point of having a fancy-schmancy physics engine, if you're not gonna do anything with it?

In other news, I only skimmed over all of the messages, but didn't Yahtzee also have a beta of a space-themed sim that he never published? I don't think I saw that one mentioned. Other than Yahtzee not liking it and getting fed up, it was practically a full game. Poseidon 12, methinks?
