I don't know if this is an oddity or it's supposed to be a story point. And my wife pointed it out to me.
After doing the whole mind trick on the Stormtroopers to hide the droids, why do they immediately send the same droids back outside where there are loads of Imperials milling about who might recognise them?
Either way it's massively retarded.

I watched it because I like Simon Pegg. I thought it was one of those odd films where, even though there's lots of stuff going on all the time, nothing seems to happen with any point to it.
It might even be worse than 'AOTC', and that's low enough.

Not sure if this has been mentioned already, but if The Empire didn't think the Death Star exhaust port was an exploitable weak spot why did they have (according to some dude in the battle)'about twenty' cannons in and around the trench defending it?

Well, as Neil said in UK comedy show The Young Ones, if you want to crucify yourself it's really hard to get the last nail in.

Well, there's the blast doors. They all open/close really quickly except the one time Han and Chewbacca need to nip through before the stormtroopers get there shouting 'open the blast doors!'
