    I think passing legislature to make english the official language of the US would be about as significant as each state's bird, tree and flower. just vaguely symbolic with no real application.

    I've spent most of my life in a metropolitan area virtually swarming with immigrants 'pervading' every aspect of society invited or uninvited. Neither myself nor anyone I've ever know has ever lost a job to or felt like less of an american because of an immigrant. I really can't understand what you're saying here. please show me a historic example of comperable immigration in another country that eventually destroyed that country and it's way of life.

    I'd heard speilberg was directing and lucas was just in charge of the story, am I wrong or is it that we're assuming lucas will taint every aspect of the project he's involved in?

    heh good point. that could be pretty funny if they do it. it could help save the film by adding at least one more point from the tried and true indy formula.

    yeah I was beginning to think the same thing.
    it seems to be the case with viral ads like that, they look interesting and turn out to be something so horrible that yeah they would have to develope some serious marketing to get anyone to even look at it.

delaware, the last state I'd ever recommend to decent people

star wars, steak dinners, cheese burgers, scotch with water, cigarette glamour, nabokov, cassette tapes, VHS, broadcast television aandd getting out of this god aweful state. don't go to delaware, it's worthlesss, unless you go to like authentic mexican restaurants, ie everyone else in the joint is latin, but barring a trip in for outstanding carnitas dishes, I recommend just standing on the border and throwing rocks at people you suspect might be delawarians.
