ummm . . . phil was too short to be the murderer.

The murderer struck from a high angle, remember? Trilby was the only human tall enough to kill him like that, which is why they suspected him.

There's still people replying to him, which is causing/allowing him to post more often.
Therefore, there are still people who need to put him on ignore.
Since they haven't yet, we should assume that they won't, willingly.

For the rest of us, having him on default ignore would be a wonderful time-saving function.

Another solution would be a change such that the ignore function cuts out his posts entirely. Instead of simply re-writing his messages to read that "you have this person on ignore . . .".
Either way, all I do is scroll past posts he makes.

(if there is a function to do that already, I haven't found it yet)

I DO have him on ignore.

I'm aiming for that to be everyone's default setting. See earlier posts.

edit: the part you quoted is merely an explanation as to why he should be treated differently from other trolls.

    @AdamM:

Correct me if i'm wrong, but it was actually the tall man who killed AJ, the secret agent, in the first game, as was explained in the third game. (Was AJ the secret agent . . .?)

(Yahtzee was fixing the plot hole whereas Trilby hadn't been posessed yet, but was still the only one tall enough to murder AJ).

Therefore, it is my theory that since Yahtzee was stuck with making a Trilby-like character to fix that plot hole, he also included a weapon that resembled trilby's grolly.

Course, i'm probably wrong and soemone's about to quote yahtzee to prove it . . .

I think tall man's weapon might be classified as a type of spear/pike, but i don't think it has a particular name.

I think Yahtzee made it up because:
I always thought the tall man was a cruel parody of Trilby.

He killed AJ in the first game, and Trilby was suspected, right? Being the same height and all.

And Trilby's . . . . ummm . . . . "grolly", was it? Umbrella with a grappling hook hidden? The tall man's weapon is just a cruel parody of that.
