Yahtzee has a couple of things he likes to put in his stories. Like faceless, nameless characters, for example: Trilby, John DeFoe, Cabadath, 1213. He also uses cloning several times.

I don't think the cultists captured Trilby. I think they're took samples from the blood on his waistcoat, and cloned Trilby from that (along with his soul).

The three blessed agonies prepared Theo for Chzo to mold him into the new prince. The Tall man was only the soul of Cabadath placed in a tree while the new Prince seems to use Theo's broken body covered in bandages, a limited Mind controlled by "it hurts" ChzoDOS and a soul that's easily manipulated still powerful.

The tall man's mind and body was together, only his soul was separated. The soul's got a new physical form (the tree), and could still feel pain. If there was only the soul in the tree, then nothing could've control the body.

Another example for "knew the name": "and the Prince struk down the lover of Frehorn, and Frehorn knew the name of the King"

I read that Yahtzee can't deceide wich character should he do a story about, so here are 2 ideas:

    - 1213: A story on Westbury (bespectacled man), from the time when he was a hacker, and when TessaLife corporation found him. Perhaps he could elaborate the 1213 world a little bit more.

    - Odysseus Kent: I, too, would like another story featuring Odysseus, perhaps another treasure hunting adventure.

    Spoilers.

    I have a question.
Malcolm Somerset became an avatar of destiny, he was basically around to make sure time happed the way it is supposed to.

    But think about it.

Time is time. Whatever happens is a part of it, and whatever doesn't happen isn't. No matter what happened, it would always be a part of time. Therefore, there is no reason to have a person keep the timestream in check, since whatever happened is what was supposed to happen, since it happened. Therefore, if the ending to 6DaS is what was supposed to happen, it would be able to happen without having someone interfere. And if it didn't happen, then the other thing is what was supposed to happen.

Basically, I'm saying that if it doesn't happen, it doesn't happen.

So there doesn't seem to be a need to have someone make sure things should go how they are supposed to go, since whatever happens is what is supposed to happen. Malcom's character doesn't seem to need to exist, really.

    Wow. Okay.

    Spoilers.

Like theorised on other forums, maybe Destiny is an entity like Chzo witch lives outside of time.
In 6DAS the Tall Man turned against Chzo and tried to kill Dacabe. Chzo lost his serveant so he couldn't interfere with the happenings in the game. That's why the Caretaker was needed, to make things happen as Destiny (and Chzo) wished. Because Cabadath and DeFoe had many opportunity to kill Dacabe but Malcolm always interfered.

I think Destiny and the timeline are two different things, the reason of the Caretaker's existence is not to make things happen as they supposed to be, but to interfere with the timeline and change it the way the Destiny wishes.
