Sorry, guys. I just snapped. I have a temper problem.
My apologies.
But... like I said, I better honor it this time. I think it's best that I don't stick around. As you can see why.
Take care. For real this time. -

As someone who is losing his taste for Star Wars as whole, I'll comment.
First... CGI Yoda himself is a marvel to look at. I enjoy good CGI craftsmanship. I can't call it crappy. Although, I find his clothing extremely phoney. To my eye it just doesn't move right. Just like I don't like how the clothes hang off the Gungans in TPM or Jar Jar's cape in AOTC. There are some scenes in AOTC that are atrocious, that look and "feel" like they're straight out of a video game, and that completely and utterly disrupts my viewing and pulls me out of the film. That is counter-productive to special effects.
The scene I have in mind is Yoda exiting the troop carrier and giving orders. The background, the Clone trooper, all look so fake and video-gamish, I can not think of this as a movie. The scene later where Yoda is pondering Anakin's "turn" or he just passing gas, I don't know, that too looks video gamish and pulls me right out of the movie.
Now, to be fair. When I watch ROTJ. Yoda's "performance" is terrible. When he's hobbling across the scene in his cave, I can't help but think of Bert and Ernie; pulling me right out of the movie again. It's terrible!
I think Yoda is at his best in ESB. If it worked the first time? Why change the recipe?
Yoda's bouncing around like Sonic-the-Hedgehog was totally unnecessary. Everything you needed for that character was right there in ESB. Lucas only did a CGI Yoda because he could, not because it was for the betterment of the film or story. That, to me, is BAD filmmaking -

Yeah, I think that would be best. Bad enough I'm pissing off PTers, don't want to piss off the OTers, either.
Maybe I ought to check out the other topics.
