    NEWSFLASH: LucasArts buys Trilby Franchise!

In economic news today, game producer LucasArts (LucasFilm, LucasDigital [ILM/SS]) has bought exclusive licencing rights to the "Trilby" franchise, owned by Benjamin Croshaw, including previous (free) titles such as "7 Days A Skeptic", "5 Days A Stranger", and "Trilby's Notes".

When our reporter called Croshaw, he remarked that his fanbase was a bunch of "Crilfey bafoons with wings", told us to "Go hump a milking machine", and revealed that he was not, in fact, of British decent, but in reality was a Spaniard. He then told us to "Go to ****, you ************* ******* *** ***** and your ******** too!".

LucasArts did not return requests for comment by presstime.

I daresay Cobnat is right on this one though. A thriller/horror adventure game is going to more enjoyable if it surprises you, rather than conforming to your speculative ideas.

The entire idea is that this thread goes along rambling off ideas, Yazeeymoto goes along leading us with screenshots and insights as if he was designing the game to follow this idle speculation, then he releases the game which is in a completely different direction with venomed references at the entire masquerade.

TRILBY. For god's sake it's TRILBY. Tee Are Eye Ell Bee Why. Like the hat. Like the Du Maurier play. Tribly and Tribby aren't anything except perhaps affectionate nicknames for the small furry creatures from Star Trek.

I' m insulted that you think I'm retarded enough to spell Trilby three different ways in one post unintentionally.
